Virgin Atlantic Airbus A340-600 G-VSHY, which has been with Air Livery at Manchester since 30th June, was unveiled today in an all white scheme. It then operated a test flight as VS808P flying circuits off Cornwall before landing at Gatwick. The seats will be removed at Gatwick and the aircraft will then return to Airbus to be used in the A350 certification process. The aircraft is therefore withdrawn from the Virgin Atlantic fleet. It’s last passenger service was on June 12th when it operated the Sydney – Hong Kong sector of VS201.
