Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747-443 G-VLIP operating VS66 Montego Bay – London Gatwick (depart Montego Bay 13th November) encountered severe turbulence close to St Johns, Newfoundland causing injury to one flight crew member and three passengers. Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747-443 G-VGAL operated yesterday’s delayed VS43/VS44 London Gatwick – Las Vegas rotation this morning as VS43A/VS44A. Today’s scheduled rotation on the route was operated by sister G-VLIP.

Gatwick Inbounds Divert to Stansted.

High winds at London Gatwick caused  two inbound flights to divert via London Stansted this morning, each having had two attempts to land at London Gatwick.

The affected flights were VS16 Orlando – London Gatwick operated by Boeing 747-443 G-VGAL and VS44 Las Vegas – London Gatwick operated by sister G-VLIP.
