Virgin Atlantic A330-300 G-VUFO Washington Cancellation.

Virgin Atlantic A330-300 G-VUFO operated VS21 London Heathrow – Washington this afternoon, however the return VS22 was cancelled in a pre-planned operation. Tomorrow’s VS21 is also cancelled and the aircraft will return to the UK operating tomorrow’s VS22.

Virgin Atlantic A330-300 G-VSXY Returns from Xiamen Maintenance.

Virgin Atlantic A330-300 G-VSXY, which has been under maintenance at Xiamen since 10th January, positioned Xiamen – London Heathrow this morning as VS810P. It is now that this is the first A330-300 to be reconfigured to 31J/48W/185Y with 1-1-1 Dreamliner style seating in Business Class.

Virgin Atlantic Announce Limited Heathrow – Bridgetown Series.

Virgin Atlantic today announced that it will run a twice weekly London Heathrow – Bridgetown A330-300 service to operate between 12th December 2017 and 24th February 2018. Schedules are as follows:

VA131 London Heathrow 1315 – Bridgetown 1755 Tuesdays and Saturdays
VA132 Bridgetown 2015 – London Heathrow 0755+1 Tuesdays and Saturdays.

The flights are part sold to a cruise company.

Virgin Atlantic B787-9 G-VCRU Johannesburg Flight Switch.

Virgin Atlantic Boeing 787-9 G-VCRU arrived into Johannesburg as VS601 from London Heathrow (depart London Heathrow 24th February) early this morning, then turned around to operate yesterday’s delayed VS602 Johannesburg – London Heathrow as day flight VS602A.

Virgin Atlantic B787-9 G-VOWS Returns from Hong Kong.

Following the technical issue it encountered on 22nd February, Virgin Atlantic Boeing 787-9 G-VOWS departed Hong Kong in the early hours of this morning operating the delayed VS207 Hong Kong – London Heathrow of 22nd February as VS207A.

Virgin Atlantic A330-300 G-VGBR, which overnighted at Miami, positioned Miami – Newark as VS118P this afternoon in order to operate VS2 Newark – London Heathrow. Today’s VS1 London Heathrow – Newark was cancelled.

Virgin Atlantic B787-9 G-VOWS Continues from St Johns.

Following its medical diversion in the early hours of this morning, Virgin Atlantic Boeing 787-9 G-VOWS departed St Johns late tonight continuing the diverted VS2 Newark – London Heathrow of 1st February, routing St Johns – London Heathrow as VS2A.

Virgin Atlantic A330-300 G-VGBR Miami Overnight.

Virgin Atlantic A330-300 G-VGBR operated VS5 London Heathrow – Miami this afternoon, but did not operate the return VS6 as scheduled but overnighted at Miami. This was pre-planned and not related to any technical issue.

Virgin Atlantic B787-9 G-VYUM Miami Flight Switch.

Virgin Atlantic Boeing 787-9 G-VYUM operated VS117 London Heathrow – Miami this morning, however the return VS118 was cancelled and the aircraft instead operated the later VS6 Miami – London Heathrow service.

Virgin Atlantic B787-9 G-VOWS VS2 St Johns Medical Diversion.

Virgin Atlantic Boeing 787-9 G-VOWS operating VS2 Newark – London Heathrow (depart Newark 1st February) was into its Atlantic crossing when it turned back and diverted via St Johns, Newfoundland in the early hours of this morning due to a medical emergency involving the pilot.
